This gorgeous home-away-from home is on one acre of prime lakefront property and located at the southwest end of Torch Lake, four miles north of the historical Torch River Bridge and sandbar. The home is on a dead end road which minimizes traffic and compliments the serenity of the lake. Torch Lake is ranked the third most beautiful lake in the world by National Geographic and for those who have visited it before, it is without a doubt, the Eighth Wonder of the World.
The upstairs two levels (1400 sq. ft.) have three bedrooms, two full baths, complete kitchen facilities, dining, fireplace, ceiling fans, foyer, lakefront deck, TV, stereo, DVD/CD, water garden, washer/dryer, and deck (15'x50'). Master bedroom features french doors which open to the picturesque Torch Lake. The downstairs walkout apartment (900 sq. ft.) is one bedroom, one bath, complete kitchen with living (sleeper sofa), dining and fireplace. The downstairs accommodations will sleep two to four and is accessible from the main house or by a private downstairs entrance with direct access to Torch Lake. There is an 8 x 30 private covered patio complete with barbecue. Ample parking for vehicles and boat trailers. Public boat launches are conveniently located nearby.
Also available is the "Garden House" for $800 per week or $600 if rented with the main home (ideal for the mother-in-law, babysitter or extra guests). The garden cottage features a gorgeous view of Torch Lake from the main window with a 1950's theme decor. Suitable for a honeymoon retreat or a nice get-away for one or two. The loft cottage is 16'x 12' with an 8'x16' deck.
100 feet of private lake front offers full docking facilities, use of water trampoline, fire pit and barbecue grill. Boat rentals are available. |
