LaToya's is located near a popular wind surfing and body boarding spot "The Chair”.
Within 5 minutes drive is East Point Lighthouse also known as Ragged Point Lighthouse. It has been in existence since 1875 and is still operational and has the most picturesque view.
Located in this region are the popular beaches of the Crane, Foul Bay and Sam lords Castle all within 5 -7 minutes drive. it should be noted that Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous has rated Crane Beach as "one of the ten best beaches in the world"!
The Grantley Adams International Airport is 10 minutes drive and is listed among the top airports in the region. For persons interested in skiing we are located within 30 minutes drive from "Silver Rock" and "Soup Bowl" surfing spots.
Emerald City Shopping Complex, located about 10 - 12 minutes drive from the facility, is a large shopping complex with a variety of stores and shops: bank, fast food restaurant with playing area (slides, etc), supermarket, clothing store, post office, gas station etc. It will be important to note that within this area is also located a hardware store, gym, doctors office, pharmacy along with other stores.
-5 minutes from the Crane resort which has 2 restaurants (Zen: Thai & Japanese and L'Azure: modern cuisine) with beautiful views over the most amazing beach
- 10 minutes to Kendal Country Club with a lovely colonial bar, the Flying Rabbit restaurant and a lovely pool that can be used during your visit
In the event of an emergency is a doctor's office is located about five minutes from the property as well as a number of local shops and restaurants. The island boast three outstanding golf courses: Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland located on the West coast about 30 minutes drive and the Barbados Golf Club located to the South of the island is 20 minutes drive from LaToya's. For lovers of miniature golf there is a course and marine park nearby.
A visit to Barbados is not complete without eating at the renowned Outdoor Fish Fry at Oistins and visiting the popular St. Lawrence Gap, these are all within 30 -40 minutes drive
