Guest House/Studio (can accomodate up to three), tropical rainforest, riverfront with a cascade and plenty of tranquility. Very soothing atmosphere on Paso Fino Horse hacienda in the mountains. The cottage has a bamboo queen-size futon, with linens, stainless steel kitchenette with appliances (indoor/outdoor grill, dishware, coffee maker, toaster, juicer) and a supply of locally grown Arabica coffee, fresh homemade eggs !! and fruit such as papaya, varities of banana, whatever is in season, from the trees that grow steps from the front door of the cottage. The bathroom is marble and tile with a shower, and linens are provided. There is a hammock by the river and cascade, books in the cottage, outdoor charcoal BBQ, dining furniture on the porch and under the trees. This property is a haven for both horses and humans who wish to sooth themselves, get in back in touch with or stay in touch with themselves through nature. It offers privacy, tranquility and serenity. Virtually "pest" free....why? because the fruit bats that we keep in bat houses virtually devour every bug. They do their "housekeeping" at night !

Nearby are Arecibo Observatory run by Cornell University, Caguana Indian Ceremonial Park, the spectacular Camuy Underground cave park system, Toro Negro Forest and Guanica Dry forest for hiking. An hour away is Mar Chiquita Beach, a private jewel, perfect for safe snorkling.

Kyacking on Lake Dos Bocas. There is a free ferry across the lake on weekends to wonderful lakeside terrace dining. Also many inexpensive local "bohios" for local Puerto Rican foods. |

Rental Policies
We do not charge a cleaning fee, but if you wish to have your laundry done we charge a minimal fee.
To secure a reservation a deposit of half the rental is required, returnable upon cancellation within 60 days of rental. Balance is due two weeks before rental date.
Pets will be considered....also smoking is permitted outside the cottage. |
